Jaguar Spread - 6 oz
Jaguar Cacao (Theobroma Bicolor) is a sister plant to Theobroma Cacao (the more common species of cacao). The tree received its common name because the jaguar is often spotted climbing the very straight-growing tree to hunt. We just couldn't resist the opportunity to create with this unique and relatively rare Bicolor from Oaxaca! We started with whole beans and stone ground them until creamy and smooth. We wanted to preserve the unique flavor profiles of this offering so we chose to make it into a spreadable treat!
This lightly sweetened spread is best enjoyed at room temperature and can be used in as many ways as you can dream up! On toast, with fresh fruit, by the spoonful, blended into your smoothie or on top of your morning oatmeal.
We received a small batch of the Oaxacan Bicolor beans to make our spread so if you want to try it, don't hesitate! Once it's gone, it's gone!
Sorry, currently out of stock
